Inter-Ecclesial Fellowship Initiative

PURPOSE OF THE INTER-ECCLESIAL FELLOWSHIP INITIATIVE

Our Beginning: Representatives from our ecclesias conducted a conference call on March 6, 2015 at the request of the Advocate committee to discuss the fellowship problems in our community. During that call the ecclesial representatives were asked to nominate brethren to comprise a steering committee to determine next steps. Six brethren were ultimately selected based upon the number of nominations received. Additional conference calls between these brethren have resulted in the development of a mission statement, adoption of a name, the Inter-Ecclesial Planning Committee (IEPC), and a letter and questionnaire to our ecclesias.

Our Mission: With God's help and using His word, bring the Unamended body back together to serve the Lord in Spirit and in Truth, glorifying our Heavenly Father by achieving Scriptural solutions consistent with the BUSF to address the issues affecting Memorial fellowship throughout the Unamended community. Work together as brethren practicing the principles of Christ, to edify and bring peace and cohesion to the Unamended community. (John 4:23, Psa. 86:11-12, 1st Cor. 6:20, 1st John 1:6-7, Eph. 4:2-6, 1 Thess. 5:21, 1st Cor. 11:28, 1st Cor. 15:58, Rom. 14:19, 2nd Timothy 3:15-17)

Our Operations: The IEPC now operates autonomous of the Advocate Magazine's structure. For the IEPC to complete its mission, we will need to develop a partnership between ecclesias, those brethren in isolation, and the various periodicals serving our community. As our first partner, the Advocate has provided this website link, mailing, and other clerical support.

Fraternally, The Inter-Ecclesia Planning Committee:
